How the Aboriginal Family Violence Legal Service can assist you

Djirra’s Aboriginal Family Violence Legal Service works with Aboriginal people who are experiencing or have experienced family violence. Djirra also assist non-Aboriginal people experiencing family violence who are parents of Aboriginal children.

Djirra do not provide support to perpetrators of family violence or sexual assault. They can refer perpetrators to support services to assist them.

If you need an interpreter to speak with staff, call TIS National on 131 450.

Give them the Bendigo Law Courts telephone number: (03) 9087 5733 and stay on the telephone while the operator connects you and the interpreter to the organisation.
