Accessible facilities
The Bendigo Law Courts are designed to make it easy for everyone to access and move about the building.
Car parking and entry
The closest accessible car parking to the building is located on Mundy Street.
The entrances on Mundy Street and Hargreaves Street have step-free access and automatic doors.
To enter the building, you must pass through airport-style security. If you need help, the Court Security officers can assist you.
Lifts
All floors at the Bendigo Law Courts are accessible by lifts.
Accessible toilets
Each floor has accessible toilets including standard, unisex accessible and toilets for ambulant people. Visit the building directory to find these on each floor.
Changing Places
The nearest Changing Places location is at 244-254 Hargreaves St, Bendigo, 3550(Opens in a new tab/window). It is approximately 240 metres from the Bendigo Law Courts. Assistance animals
Assistance animals are welcome at the Bendigo Law Courts. Please bring identification for your assistance animal (for example, Victorian or other Australian service dog identification, mindDog Australia ID card, PTV Assistance Animal Transport Pass).
The closest green space is Rosalind Park(Opens in a new tab/window) which can be accessed at the end of Mundy Street.
Hearing loops
All court, hearing and mediation rooms have dedicated hearing loops installed with assistive listening devices (ALD) available as required.
Hearing and interpreter support
There are no interpreters based at the Bendigo Law Courts.
If you need an interpreter to speak with staff, call the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National) on 131 450. Give them the Bendigo Law Courts telephone number (03) 9087 5733 and stay on the telephone while the operator connects you and the interpreter.
